Balloon Fiesta

Yes, we did go to the Balloon Fiesta again this year!  It was a bit of a fiasco, to say the least... We left the house too late in the morning and got stuck on the freeway with the rest of the procrastinators.  For an hour.  With a screaming, just-turned-3-year-old; "I want to see the balloons."  It wasn't pleasant to say the least.  So, we ditched the idea and took the kids to McD's for breakfast instead.

We tried again that night. Success!  And the bonus was, Jeff got to join us.

The kids had fun flying kites while we waited for it to get dark.

It was a ca-razy day, but it ended really well and we had a lot of fun.  I love fall in New Mexico - green chile, Balloon Fiesta, and amazing weather!
