Arizona Trip Part Two - Wickenburg

Affectionately referred to as "Radiator Springs" by my family.  Two of my sisters, Mandy and Kirsten, came to visit as well.  I love it when I get to see my family.  We live all over the country, so it's a big deal when we get to spend time together.

We started off the time with my family with a trip to the Dr's office with Sadie.  Somehow she always manages to get sick when we go on vacation.

We took the kids on a walk one morning.  They quickly got bored, so we had to think of a few things to keep them entertained.  What worked best was for my dad to hide behind a bush, then scare them when they came up.  He must have done it about 20 times, and each time they screamed right on cue :)

Another day, my parents took Sadie and Chad to my mom's cousin Vern's house so they could see the horses.  I was surprised when Sadie called to tell me she got to ride a horse!  She kept saying "Mommy, I rode a horse!  I'm a cowgirl!"  So cute.  My mom and dad said both kids did really well on the horses.  I love these pictures my dad took:

Sam had fun playing with my sister Kirsten's new puppy, Kobi:
The kids enjoyed ice cream cones from DQ another day:

A picture of most of us... Kirsten had already left and Sam was sleeping.

I always say it... we love being able to go visit family, but it's also nice to come home to normal life!
