Snow Day(s)!

We've gotten quite a bit of snow in the past week.  The kids have had lots of fun getting bundled up and playing.

This is what we got last Saturday.  Not much, but the first snow of the season is always fun :)

And Chad has FINALLY decided he likes the snow.  For the past few years, all he has done is stood still and scowled.

Then, all of that snow melted, and Sunday night/Monday morning we got about 5 inches of snow.  Jeff was off work, thankfully, so he took Sadie & Chad to the park to play for a bit.  I asked Jeff to take the camera with him and he replied "But then I can't play!".  Love that guy.  So I snapped these pictures as they headed out:

It's always good to have some hot chocolate to warm up afterward!

Here in Rio Rancho, we really do get the best of all worlds.  Great summers and mild winters.  The snow doesn't stick around long because it usually warms up enough to melt within a few days.
